Who Are We
Youth Leadership Development Program
We are a program offered by Dymond Enterprise Inc. focused on empowering youth to develop the five key leadership/life skills that we believe are necessary when making healthy choices. These skills will set them on the path towards academic and personal success. They are: K - Kindness; I - Intelligence; N - Nobility; G - Greatness and S-Special. With the help of our inspirational staff, we deliver a dynamic five-day basketball leadership development program for middle school and high school youth.
Who We Serve
KINGS Dream serves young boys in middle school, grades six to eight; and young men in high school, grades nine to twelve. We have served in the First Nation of Cree and locally in the Peel District School Board. We travel to you and deliver the program where there is a gym and some hoops. We also serve young men between the ages of nineteen and twenty-five who desire to strengthen their entrepreneurial muscle so they can make an optimal impact as entrepreneurs. King has successfully founded and built four companies starting from the age of eight years old. He has become mentor for many and is passionate about sharing the keys of his success with up and coming young business men who are not afraid to Hustle Hard and Smart! Why We Serve
Suspension rates were highest in Toronto District School Board (2006/07) for Aboriginal students with Black students a close second. Black youth make up 12% of the Toronto School District population in high school yet account for 31% of suspensions. This number jumps to 37% in grades seven and eight according to TDSB 2006-2007. Today more than 300 students expelled from the TDSB in 2016 were males and 48% were black. We believe we have the solution to this growing problem and want to partner with educators, community leaders, churches, and parents to assist in the development of leadership in these young minds and lives. They are the leaders of tomorrow and we believe true KINGS! This is why we graciously serve.
